FAQ

Answers to commonly asked questions

  1. Does insurance cover sound baths?

Sound bathing is an alternative to traditional therapeutic practice. It is an additional support and tool individuals can use to practice wellness and healing. Most of the sound bath sessions I lead will be held outdoors in nature to integrate principles of ecotherapy which may be offered by your therapist, so check to see if if ecotherapy is part of their offerings. Sound bathing is a great option to consider with numerous benefits, and comes at a low cost. Most sound bath sessions are under $20, and free popup sound baths will be offered in the community to continue to raise awareness of this great practice!

  1. What should I bring?

More than anything, come with an open mind and suspend any doubts you may have about the experience. To truly reap the rewards of this practice, you need to first be open to it. Aside from that, please bring a yoga mat or blanket to lay on, pillows for back/neck support if you think that might be comfortable, and dress comfortably!

  1. What can I expect?

During a typical sound bath session, I start with a breathing exercise, leading into a guided meditation and body scan, followed by the full sound bath experience, and then ending with affirmations.

  1. What instruments do you play?

Currently, I work with the Native American flute, the rainstick, wind chimes, drums, a gong, among others. There are many more that I am learning and wish to add to my repertoire!

  1. Can I get my money back?

All sales are final. In the event of inclement weather, ticket sales will be refunded and an alternative date will be sent. Please reach out if flexibility is needed as life understandably happens.

  1. This all sounds great. How can I support?

The best way to support is to come join in on a session and then spread the word to friends and family or anyone you think could benefit from sound healing!
