Sound Healing

What is sound healing?

The use of sound for restoration and healing can be traced to Native American roots, but has been practiced for many years. Sound bathing uses sound immersion where participants are "bathed in" numerous sounds, such as crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, flutes, etc. During this immersive experience, participants may enter a state of deep meditation and relaxation where they are temporarily relieved of daily distractions. The goal of a sound bath is to restore the mind, body, and soul.

What is ecotherapy?

Ecotherapy is an applied practice stemming from principles of ecology and psychology. In simplest terms, ecotherapy is utilizing nature as place to heal and restore one's self. Traditionally, people have used nature for medicinal purposes and as a place to regain clarity and directions. Increasingly, therapists today are offering ecotherapy to their clients as a means to bridge the natural world as a therapeutic setting. Similarly, an optimal location for sound bathing sessions is outdoors under the rays of the bright sun.
